Welcome!

Growing up, I got to help my dad and his friends experiment with some of their long exposure night photography projects in the woods of Vermont. He’s a professional photographer and getting to see his approach to photography at an early age had a lasting impression. As a young kid (around 9 years old), we’d run through the woods, waving flashlights, flinging frisbees with LED lights, and using all sorts of other unique lights to capture exciting photographs.

During my adolescence, I became more interested in video games for some reason. It wasn’t until 2017, when I moved to Pittsburgh, PA, that I rediscovered my love for long exposure night photography. At 20 years old, on the Fourth of July, I accidentally set my camera’s shutter speed to one second and took a photo. That single photograph is the reason for all of the long exposure night photographs I’ve taken since.

The photos you’ll see on this website are all taken and edited by me. Generally, I try to keep the edits fairly close to their original colors and mood. Some may have more obvious adjustments where I felt inspired to experiment and test out some new things.
